Bland Hack classics now on Vimeo!

After wrangling with some compression issues (and I’m still going to try to have better versions up soon), Bland Hack’s two first films, Carboy and Me and My Bot are now beautifully featured on Vimeo, and you can watch them on our Films page.

I have to say, never having used Vimeo before, I was sold pretty much immediately. For filmmakers, it’s incredibly welcoming and you have a fair amount of control in creating a great presentation for your videos. It’s fast and efficient (light years beyond YouTube for many reasons). Plus, the site’s design is so sleek and hip and cool looking, I couldn’t help but be suckered in by it all.

My only complaint is that it seems to cater almost too well to HD, leaving poor standard definition miniDV folks wanting a little more. But like I said, I’ll try to make the videos look better.

But really, we just need to shoot something on HD so we can be the cool 720p kids.
